Any thought or concept that crosses my mind.
Sketches, digital drawings, colour studies, pattern and mandalas.
Motherhood
This monochromatic piece explores the delicate yet uncertain nature of pregnancy, using moths—often seen as symbols of death—as a metaphor.
At the center is a pregnant woman gently holding her body, with moths resting softly on her hands and skin.
Their presence hints at the fragility and hidden risks involved in creating life.
Her glowing, flowing hair stands out vividly against the dark background, highlighting the constant tension between life and death.
The Abyss
This piece was inspired by Inktober’s "Enchanted" prompt. The ghostly queen with a vacant stare, is mesmerized by the tentacles she's summoning,
or perhaps she's enchanting the viewer as she communes with this mysterious creature from the abyss.
The glowing light she holds symbolizes her strange magic, something no quite good nor evil, but undeniably powerful.
Wrenching Anxiety
This piece explores how anxiety can completely take over, showing its impact both physically and emotionally.
The distorted figure and tense expression illustrate how anxiety twists perception, while the desperate clutching at the neck and chest
captures the constant tension and fear.
The bold grayscale palette and strong shading highlight that endless feeling of being trapped in fight or flight mode.
It's my personal reflection on the exhausting cycle of anxiety and unease.
The Void Within
In this piece, the figure’s chest is torn open, revealing a void filled with eyes—representing both the judgmental gaze of others and our own harsh inner critic.
The intense stare shows the stress of handling these pressures without falling apart. The intense stare shows the stress of handling these pressures and
the emotional numbness that comes from constant judgment. The black-and-white palette and textured background add tension and highlight vulnerability.
It's about feeling the heavy weight of expectations and the desire to rip them out of your system.
Gemini
Second piece in my zodiac series, representing Gemini. I wanted to highlight the duality of the sign by creating
two distinct personalities within the same composition. One side is light and calm with blonde hair,
while the other is bold and vibrant with purple tones.
Their contrasting features are unified by subtle Gemini symbols and celestial elements, like the moon and sun earrings,
to tie the theme together.
Sagittarius
My first try at a realistic portrait and the start of a series I'm working on about zodiac signs.
This one represents Sagittarius, with the arrows symbolizing the archer.
I wanted to balance boldness and elegance. It was a fun challenge to capture realism and personality together.
Self-portrait
This is another self-portrait, but I really wanted to play with light and expression here. I went for warm tones to give it a dramatic yet intimate feel,
focusing on the shadows and highlights to bring out the intensity in the eyes.
Butterfly
I created this piece on A3 paper, entirely hand-drawn and colored using Promarkers, ink pens, and colored pencils.
The concept was to explore themes of transformation and self-discovery, which is why I used the butterfly as a mask, symbolizing change and freedom.
The vibrant red hair was designed to evoke energy and passion, flowing dynamically to contrast with the calm blue background.
